I play destruction warlock. Stuff dies really fast. My level 80 Gnome warlock kills regular mobs of level 80 in 1-3 attacks. If they don't die by the incinerate, then they die by conflag. He's well geared though, so that makes sense. Mobs have about 11k health at level 80 on average, my warlock can hit up to 15k without being in a raid and having all those buffs. In raid, I've seen it hit up to 22k-25k on the big hits.
Noob locks play as Demonology. And they think its the bomb. Better warlocks play as either Affliction or Destruction. Both do about the same DPS. Demonology can be a good spec, but its more of a raid utility than it is a dps spec for the PVE side of things.
So you can go ahead and try to say this is a noob class, but no way. last time I checked, noobs can't pull 6K damage per second on average, and doing over 15k damage per second on the really cool fights like Hodir and Vezex, which have special things that increase your damage/haste.
Infact, usually people calling others noobs, are noobs, and they have no idea what Ulduar is, and have never seen the last boss, Yogg Saron, and have no hope of ever seeing it, because nobody would want to play with them because they suck at the game, and prolly have never even leveled past 45 yet.
Yogg is such a fun fight. Phase one where you really gotta pay attention and not just kill crap and do it in an orderly fasion, then in phase 2 you gotta have a brain group and then a tentacle group for outside, I was always in tentacle group outside, then in phase 3 you gotta kill Yogg, and you have Yogg group and Adds group. But if you are dumb and face yogg when he laughs, you lose life and sanity, and if you are stupid on that fight at all, your toon goes insane, causing it to attack others and you can't be rezed either because you will still be insane.
Yeah, noobs have no hope of ever even getting to that fight, let alone beating it.
In fact, usually the players who suck try to say "said class is a noob class" are the true noobs.
