I bought the Moonkin Hatchling pet and he dances with you. :D

Because the players who PAY THEM to play the game ask for it.
So?

Blizzard isn't forcing us to play, if we don't like what we offer then we can stop playing. Unless they want to do that they ain't gonna do stuff.

Although I do agree with it. And I wish they'd have more customization for gear. IMO, I'd love to level with, say, a Defias Rapier that's been upgraded slowly over time. Not heirlooms, either. Just, your weapon can sort of "level up" with you, and you can slowly give it more stats/damage/dps overall. That way we can have customized weapons, rather than everybody having the same weapons at the end of the game.

Along with that, make end-game gear a lot harder to obtain. I'd like to actually work for my gear, not do heroic-after-heroic to get Justice Points for it.

The Plants vs. Zombie quest has to be one of the most entertaining quests I have ever done

Pretty much all of the vanilla end game instances are really really cool but since 60 is level cap no more they're just really inactive. It'd be awesome if blizz made some realms with level caps of 60, 70 and 80 so if people want to experience older content they can.

The real reason they don't do that is because they know the classic servers would be quickly over-whelmed and become the majority of players. Truth is vanilla was the best version and Blizz knows it, so if they bring back vanilla they will never get anybody to buy their expansions unless they do a grueling revamp. Everquest 1 actually has servers called progression servers, where it starts out with 0 expansions and the expansions are slowly released in order until everything is out, it is a lot of fun.

It's sentimental value that makes people think it's the best. They played during those times and when those times changed it wasn't the same for them. Really, though, they've updated and polished the game a lot now because of the expansions. If you want a great comparison, think of it as vanilla Blockland vs. retail Blockland.

If the game never had any major content changes it would grow stale over time.

You are completely wrong if you think people only liked vanilla because it has sentimental value. Vanilla was challenging, classes had distinct roles, the mechanics were more simple yet the game was much more complex. Progression was much more slow and steady, no being in full purps in a day. The dungeons had more time put into them and are still better than any dungeons out today. The armor was had completely different looks, classic has 100s of different armor graphics, BC had like 20, WOTLK has like what 4? PVP was very balanced and fun for all classes, the PVP was more about fast reflexes and quick-thinking versus today every class having 40k HP and 80% damage reduction. I miss walking around in full epics and people just chasing you around inspecting you, because it was actually rare. I miss the PVP ranks where only like 10-20 people ever got the max rank and it took TONS of work, and how the PVP gear had the same stats as PVE gear. I miss wiping in Strat 10 man 20 times each run just to get a small chance at a level 60 blue that would help me get into raids.

Because that's the part where he contradicted himself.

So I ended up getting all the expansions on the 28th, me and the friend who recruited me have been leveling like crazy because of the 3x EXP from recruit a friend.

Because that's the part where he contradicted himself.

Where did I contradict myself? I stated I missed attributes of vanilla that aren't around in WOTLK, are you handicapped or something?

Ah sorry man, I'm seriously handicapped.
Saying that no one likes or liked vanilla because it has/had sentimental value but being a nostalgia cigarette and saying how good everything in vanilla was and how you're totally not missing that is obviously not a contradiction.

Seriously, I'm so sorry man. I think I'll go /wrist and dig a grave.

Well you do not know the definition of sentimental, that is where you made a mistake.

Thinking of either starting a Druid or a Priest after I finish my hunter. Which should I do?
