Depends on what you want to do.
If you want to be a healer I'd say Priest since healer is a pain in the ass now.
If DPS, Druid.

Healing has never been easier and a priest healer is a lot harder to play than a druid healer in a raid setting. I actually have all healers 70+, I have a 72 pally, 75 druid, 80 priest, and 80 shaman, and I would say the priest is the most fun to me, also they nerfed druids hard in tanking and healing so if you have faith in blizzard fixing it you could just pick whichever would be the most appealing to you. If you wanted to DPS shadow priest and boomkins are very similar to eachother in how they play, I am having a lot of fun on my druid being feral DPS especially in PVP, I wreck every class because of all the strategies that are available to me (going bear when taking big damage, or going bear to get an extra charge or 2 second stun, going caster and spamming heals, going travel and running away, going cat and killing people before they can even get unstunned.)

Either way, they're both gonna get to 80. I'm just a little stumped on who to start first.

Healing has never been easier
So, you made a healer character after the newest patch?

So, you made a healer character after the newest patch?

I've played them all since the newest patch. Really you are being an idiot trying to give advice when you've been playing 1 or 2 months and have a DK in greens with half tank and half DPS gear. I've been playing 6 years and have 5 80s I think I know a tiny bit more about WoW than you.

I've played them all since the newest patch.

Cool. So it's my client that nerfed everything, and not the server. Weird.
It's been much easier playing a level 15 priest healer before the newest patch.

Where do I have green stuff on my DK?

I'm sorry for trying to give a good advice after reading the patchnotes and changes.

You haven't actually played the cataclysm content. Healing is not easy.

Ah sorry man, I'm seriously handicapped.
Saying that no one likes or liked vanilla because it has/had sentimental value but being a nostalgia cigarette and saying how good everything in vanilla was and how you're totally not missing that is obviously not a contradiction.

Seriously, I'm so sorry man. I think I'll go /wrist and dig a grave.
Wow you really suck at reading lol.

I have played the beta and it is easy, having to be efficient with your mana is not really a big deal, I was always conservative with my mana anyway. Besides if you read correctly he said healing is a pain in the ass after the patch, not in Cataclysm, so you are basically trying to tell me I am wrong for something I never said.

Lets turn everything just so to make it look like whoda's the loving starfish, just like everyone else likes to do.

Current patch = cata content
The current content changed a few things and you somehow drain out of mana way faster then usual. This is a problem for some players since healer was actually just a press button, take action class.
It's cool that you with your six stuffty years of knowledge know how to play this class even after the changes properly, but some players can't and I'm sorry to tell you but not everyone is you.

What is wrong with people nowadays.
Out of the sudden everyone tries to attack me.

Well when you keep attacking people and being wrong, it makes them attack you back. First you tell me I contradicted myself because you didn't know what sentimental value meant, then you are telling me healers are hard when you have a 15 priest and I have 2 80s and 2 70+ healers myself. You were trying to be a smart ass but ended up looking like a fool that's just how it goes sometimes.

Sorry for not being more obvious for talking about a new character. I mean, I was totally not trying to give Goron advices.
And your assumptions are loving annoying. I have a 55 Priest.
"But what the forget is his problem then? It should be easy by now!" Well guess what. I've made a new priest just to try the new beginner stats and from experience I can say that they are a pain in the ass for an average player. I don't need to give any advices to suckup wow nerds like you. I wanted to give Goron advices.

You're the one making a fool out of yourself you smart ass.

Thinking of either starting a Druid or a Priest after I finish my hunter. Which should I do?

SERIOUSLY how loving obvious DOES it have to be?!

You are the one who started to talk about endgame stats when I was trying to give advice on a nice beginner gameplay. You can change your stupid spec after level 30 if you want to but for forgets sake I was talking about 1+ and not endgame stats.

You loving piss me off.

It's funny
I have a priest about level 55, heals absolutely fine, no problems at all.

I have a whole ton of healers, but none of them have much of a problem.

Maybe you really just suck.

And again, thanks for not reading the whole post.

As obvious as I stated I said that his assumptions annoys me that he thinks that I just have a level 15 priest even though I have a 55 priest.
Then I also stated that I made a new priest, just to test the new content, the nerfs.

I never said that it was a pain in the ass with my 55 or 56 or what ever he is, I said that it is harder now for a new character.

I, WHODA, MADE A LEVEL 1 PRIEST TO TEST THE NEW CONTENT (LATEST PATCH, LATEST, THE ONE WITH THE NERFS), TO LOOK AT THE NERFS AND COMPARE THEM TO BEFORE THE UPDATE, WHEN I GOT LEVEL 15 AND THE ABILITY TO JOIN DUNGEONS IT WAS HARDER TO BE HEALER THEN WITH MY PREVIOUS PRIEST.

Get it?
