The expansion's not out, yet.

Yeah, but technically you'd need to buy BC and WotLK in order to upgrade your account to Cataclysm because otherwise it's just like ignoring all the other races and their level 70/80 additions.
Unless they come up with a clever way of letting you get up to 85 if you get Cataclysm, but you can't access BC or WotLK areas.

Yeah so I manned up and bough the game (on staurday actually, hopefully my trial restrictions will be off by tomorrow (monday, timezones yay) so i can get my goodies from the mailbox and trade etc) and im level 26 troll mage, going arcane.
