I thought that the Lich King didn't kill everybody in the first place because of the fact that a bit of Arthas was still somewhere inside holding him back. Supposedly, Frostmourne stole his soul and made him controllable by the Lich King.
Yeah. In the Arthas novel their are three "spiritual" presences within him: Nerz'hul, Arthas as the Lich King and Arthas as a child. He ends up destroying both Nerz'hul and his child self because they were holding him back.

I has a druid now :D

Healing is fun.

(This is my main)
Play feral or resto. I played a boomkin on my druid for a while and it was the most boring spec I've ever played.

I'm glad they didn't make them super-feminine and vulpine. They actually turned out looking somewhat threatening! (The second model more so than the first). I'll probably make a Worgen at some point for the purpose of playing through the starting area and exploring the towns and such. I'm not sure if I'll follow through with it. I'll want to play in some of the newer transformed zones, but I'm not sure if I'll want to cap off another character... That would make it 3.

Well at least ghouls are awesome.

Cataclysm Release Date Postponed (Not Official)
A few weeks ago I announced that the target release date for Cataclysm was November 2. Well, according to an update I just got, the release has been postponed and Blizzard will try to release the game in early December. (Basically, either December 7 or December 14)

The Cataclysm by itself will happen earlier and will let you play in the "new" zone for a couple of days/weeks before you can buy the expansion and access the level 85 content. Keep in mind that they're mostly inside info, they're not official and I just report them because ... well, I'm sure you all want to know when it's supposed to happen..

FFFF NEED TO REACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT

Awstuff, I just noticed that Cataclysm will probably come out a week after my birthday. I could get a freebie out of it and ask for it as a late birthday present.

I've had enough of WoW, chick in class spends the entire loving day looking up gear it drives me nuts, then she'll play Minecraft for the rest of the time.

loving Wow, damnit blizzard fix my account already so I can start playing again.

In the upcoming 4.0 patch we'll begin the first stage of the conversion to the new currencies. Emblems of Triumph and Emblems of Frost will be converted into Justice Points. For this initial conversion there will be a soft cap of points you can have, with a hard cap enforced later as detailed below. All PvE emblems and badges below Frost and Triumph will be converted into gold. This even includes legacy badges, like Badges of Justice. If any of these older currencies are converted into gold, the player will receive it through an in-game letter.

It's like getting a t10 set from heroics now. Good job, Blizzard... /sarcasm
Stop thinking in terms of Lich King conditions with the Cataclysm systems. Certainly some of the tier 10 effects are useless (chance to reset Divine Storm for Retridins, for example) and the quest gear almost beats out the tier gear VERY quickly. Malfurion Stormrage's first quest gives a chestpiece that almost beats out the Basic Chestpiece for the set (personally only my gems/enchants gave it the edge) so really, your comment isn't remotely apt.

Ungemmed and unenchanted T10 251 will be obsolete with green level 80 quest gear.

Save your Triumphs and Frosts if you are going to play Cataclysm.

I know that wearing your iLevel 277 gear and your full Heroic Sanctified <Insert Class T10 Here> makes you feel special and accomplished and whatnot,

But come Cataclysm, you won't be able to hide behind your Gear Score anymore, sugarplum.
Witness the beginning...

..OF THE ERA OF THE SKILLED PLAYER!

It's really about time.
Everyone wants to see endgame content, and Blizzard knows that.

Plenty of people in the game could care less about the lesser geared.

Favoritism runs abound in this game.

Nobody wants to help their friends, guild mates, or give anyone a chance in their raid if they don't have the gear.

Look. If Blizzard is making it easier in the game, it's because people like that are ruining it for others. Blizzard is fixing the elitist's mistake.

Yeah frost and triumph will be combined for great justice.

Save your Triumphs and Frosts if you are going to play Cataclysm.
Justice points will have a hard cap of 4000 so you might as well spend the excess.

Also, anyone else getting tired of the QQ about the removal of the portals from the sanctuary cities? People have become so lazy... The whole point of a game is to get away from the rush of the real world and yet all they care about is convenience for the sake of rushing in a game world. Anyone else just like to run through Ashenvale and enjoy the zone? I personally love this change, brings WoW back to the older days. With the addition of dungeon finder people really weren't really traveling as it was, at least now they have to.
