how the hell do you beat grox? because to start fighting them, i cant see a way to protect anything you got back home lol.

i figure:
get a crapload of money, like REALLY safe up on all the money you will need for very long time.
setup small non harvesting colonies to base at and repair near where you feel like fighting.

quit your job and school and just GRIND those enemy planets.
theres at least 1000 of em lol

Rush through, quickly jumping planet to planet.
When you get low on health take down a grox planet and plop a colony there to repair.

How do you do that? Is there some kind of jump drive for getting across the Galaxy? or do you need to travel from solar system to solar system over and over again? What badges/tools do you need?

You need atleast Jumpdrive 4 to make the journy, and theres a worm hole right next to the groxx empire. So you can either solar to solar, or make your way to the center and find what wormhole it is, Its much easier to just fly there, takes time, but you also work towards getting a few badges doing this.

i wish the game had a bookmark system. to set marks on systems you like. and have it map directions for you to revisit.

after jumping through 4 blackholes, while wandering around blindly between each one, i find a place i like in middle of nowhere and place a colony.
i die exploring and respawn

now i cant find it lol
and the odds of me finding it again are extremely low lol

you don't fully feel the massive'ness of the game till your 2 hours lost, being able to zoom out and see your home marking don't really help lol
