You know what? In most horror movies, the main characters usually end up alive, then at the very end, they die. So either character you pick, you're screwed.

That OR one of these three scenarios:

-The character survives with all of his loved ones self-sacrificed or killed by the antagonist(s).
-The character and his girlfriend both survive and set out to live a new life
-The character is being killed (with all loved ones dead) and JUST at the last minute, it turns out to be a dream

In the Xbox 360 version you can choose your character, so I don't see why you shouldn't be able to in the PC version.

Also, one of the developers said that "the only difference is the controller."

There are great games and there are bad games I never said it was stuff, I said it MIGHT be stuff. There's always the possibilities. It's not even a race to get it first I have patience I can wait for reviews.
