why do i have so much redstone? like way more then im finding coal and iron.
is it just a bad balance in game, or did the devs actually think we would need this much?

redstone is pretty much as common as coal just only in it's layer
it depends where you're digging I guess

I always find a lot of redstone.
It's because around 4-7 redstone spawns out of one block, pretty much.
You'll use it a lot if you want to make more complex builds.

as far as the day is wide!

The limit is like, 16 or something without repeaters.
