Why did it have to be some ass-backwards character that I have to go copy from my charmap or the internet whenever I want to use it

They could've used some random symbol combination like "@&" or something to prevent accidental formatting

It was originally only used in the end credits to do things. I believe server messages use &[0-f] or something for colors. Besides, I copy it from the wiki instead of looking for it.

And you know what else annoys me? Book shimmering and the lack of going back to text you've already written

So I just recently got technic launcher and uh

wow this is so amazing

I got it a week ago. Pretty awesome huh? Tekkit is great to play with a friend, Technic is fun for a while in SSP but I prefer Yogbocks over it.

No. And I don't think they will be since that would since that's another type of storage and distinguishing bookshelves with actual books would be annoying to implement.
