According to news, "cherry trees" was a joke among staff over public channels. I haven't seen the actual conversation they had, but it sounds like that is not happening. Did they flesh out some logical reasoning to do it? Because it sounds doubtful at best.

Today I discovered the Hexxit pack for Tekkit through GenerikB's videos, got about halfway through his second episode when I had to download it to play for myself

Tinker's Construct, Better Dungeons, Chococraft, Asgard Shield, Bibliocraft, Harken Scythe...it's like they took all of my favorite fantasy-based mods and stuck them together and then added another 50 things I've never even heard of but are pretty awesome, I loving love it

However I am trapped in my house at the moment by this starfish:



40hp, shoots Ghast fireballs, deals massive damage back when hit, teleports occasionally, steals health, damages your items (I think?), causes blindness, regenerates health (which means he can't burn up in the sunlight), and makes you wither

A house in survival made of bricks was like a diamond block palace

But that was then and this is now

But that doesn't look like the stained clay we have. It's too vibrant. It might be new clay types, or a new block all together.

Also, Ghast-powered tree farm: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdJ_tEFKvbM Ghast breaks wooden logs so they can be put into chests, instead of having to manually grab all the blocks once the farm has put them together. Uses the trick of getting Ghast into Minecarts, naming them so they can't despawn, then pushing them through a portal.
