2) I found a huge cave yesterday, I got lost for like, an hour. There was so much coal, redstone, obsidian, and iron, though. And a wee bit o' gold.
3) Best-ever mining/dungeon-finding method - Get a lot of ladders, then dig straight down until you hit the bottom of the map (Bedrock), then just start digging around. That's how I found the huge cave.

I did this yesterday and ended up exploring the dungeon
although i fell into lava and lost some of the things i found
the rest is safely in my storage room.

How to make better lighting in hallways/artificial sun for farms.

The lava creates light that shines through the glass, No more torches! It can also be used as sun for a farm.

I mined out a massive tunnel until i got too close to the floor so I started mining inards and sideways. Eventually I came across lava which i then tried to dig over. I promptly found a big opening underground where I found diamonds. :) Later myself and Messes came back into the mine and carryed on exploring, climbing over an underground waterfall and lighting up self generated tunnels until we found.....



At hole leading down to where we had found!? How had no one else discovered this cave system? :D After screenshotting this picture and carrying on me adn Messes discovered... Cobbelstone? Only a player could have placed that! Unless.... it was a dungeon. Sure enough we broke in and there was a dungeon with loot and a mob spawner (Which wasn't spawning things ofc) so after that we left and carried on exploring after we ound a random largew tunnel. It looked a lot more threatening(lol) in the dark and Messes lighted it up for you guys to see.



And then i had to go :(. But i passed down all my good loot to Messes (And my diamond Pick. : ] )
