Heal your server needs some kinda direction... my cousin was telling me how boring it is to build stuff and have some starfish come by 2 seconds later and just dump lava on it...


Instead of always admining that stuff you should let it happen... let people make smalls groups of trusted friends and make their own hidden caves... make traps and stuff and the whole objective be to destroy the other peoples caves and stuff....

Be like a hide and seek basically with a element of "who do you trust?"

in the end you'll need to trust people who know where to find lava... and people who will join the other tribes and put out your lava source...


I think it would be pretty fun... it would definetly be something new and refreshing.

No. No one dumps lava on people stuff, I have been there ALL day and nothing like that had happened. If it did, it would be so easy to fix. Just ban the person and fill the house up with glass then break it. Or just delete the source. The Admins such as Heal, Oasis, and myself would fix it and replace any lost valuables.

Also, his server is NOT a ''Build a base and destroy others bases that they worked hard on and yours is hidden so nothing will happen to it" server.

Please people please listen. Heal's server is NOT the only one. If you want one directed the way YOU want it, host your own or join one like you are describing. Otherwise, don't tell Heal how you want his server to be. You're lucky he is even letting us be on his and do what we want (Obviously except grief).

Obviously some rules would have to be in effect such as the base must have a clear visible entrance.. or it cannot be covered..

but nothing is stoping you from making a maze inside your base or lava traps and stuff...

iunno just saying it would be cool... would actually give people a reason to build stuff and work towards their tribes or wahtever

This is exactly why I don't like SMP yet, there are several things that prevent this.

I'm not missing anything? Heal's server is mainly build only. How are you going to get lava? Buckets are messed up, so that wouldn't make any sense. Trust me, wait 'till PvP and there will be a "DESTROY THE OTHER TRIBES CITY" server :)

Yes, you're first post stated that your ''Cousin" hates it when people dump lava on his stuff. Then you suggest that you WANT to dump lava on each others builds as a form of attacking. Haven't i banned you? I'm not sure why, but it just feels like you should be banned.

Oasis may be going into control freak mode, but i'm fixing that.

Those who dump lava on other's builds are generally banned from my server. It is pretty much a freebuild with a guideline or two, like, build one nation together, or join another nation and build to compete with other nations.

You really are contradictory, and have not been on my server much if at all.
