OK i went into mine craft dug straight down about 40 blocks, found a HUGE cave, then i ran into a zombie dungeon, i quickly built a feather harvester and after leaving it running for about 20 minutes i had 128 feathers, multiply that by 4, and that will make out to 512 arrows :o
