-Notch says he's going to release a hhuuuuggeee update on halloween.

-People get mad and attack his site saying he's not updating.

-Even if he wanted to, now, he couldn't even release an update.


Whether it be the internet or not, I would think people would be smarter than that.

I don't think so. Seeing as you just posted the .exe, and you would need to log on with an account that has purchased the game before just to play offline.

Yeah, why would they want a half done, broken update, when they can have a huge update with tons of content and added features. They would just get pissed that it's broken and do it again.
