Author Topic: Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it  (Read 6741603 times)

I had an idea for a tex pack that was sort of school themed, where the workbench would be a desk and the signs would be blackboards, and that's pretty much all I have. Couldn't come up with anything else. :P

Got a sort of wall around my mini-city thing on my singleplayer world. Working on an area where you take a boat to a hidden minecart, which goes to some sort of underground mine. I love Minecraft.

I am loving bored as hell, any good servers that I do not need to apply for, and not Valens ok?

Started new world. Will post pictures here each day unless I die: in that case the world is scrapped.

Day 1.

I've made a small little home in a convenient cavern, and found pumpkins right at my spawn. I observed a huge shark rip a bear to shreds, blocking my access to any nearby islands. I did find a rabbit, though, who is now at home in my underground house.

Day 1- First Home

Day 2.
As I was exploring the forest, I noticed a peculiar creature being attacked by a fox. I slayed the fox, and found that the creature was a fairy, who called herself (insert your name here! give me a suggestion that I will name her, nothing stupid like "cuntlicker!")
In return for some flowers, she would perch on my head and give me improved jumping and gliding abilities- provided I protect her from hungry animals.

With []'s help, I was able to glide and swim past the giant shark and get to a small desert island. There were a few nasty looking lizards on it, who shot fireballs when you got too close. I'll come back later with better supplies.

Day 2- A bond of fairy tale proportions

Day 2- Note to self: beware of desert lizards. I'm amazed I was able to dodge this fireball.

Day 2- Minecraft: That game where you enslave rabbits and fairies.

Day 3.

I found a guinea pig stuck in a cave and rescued it; I'm accumulating these damn animals so fast! After keeping it in my house, I went to explore the cave it was near, and found a deep pit and a waterfall, as well as the remains of some beast. I can hear this horrible moaning sound coming from one of the tunnels...

Day 3- A new pet

Day 3- One-way ride to the bowels of the earth

Day 3- The ancient cave, undisturbed for millions of years

and the sounds to go with it

It turned out to be some sort of mutated miner demon shadow wraith thing, it looked powerful but never got a chance to hurt me. Silly sword knockback!
I did get lots of iron around it, though.

As I came out of the cave, I was brutally mauled by a pair of spiders. I'm down to half-health now.

More to come!

You guys make Minecraft boring with this 'you die, delete world' bullstuff. Why the hell would you delete the world? Is it because of rage? Because honestly, I don't find that fun at all.

Realism? Challenge? "Just because we can"?

Or maybe it's because they want the survival aspect of the game with a new landscape to explore every time, rather than the building, diamond whoring, 40 mb world aspect.

If I were to delete my worlds right after I died, how the hell would I find loads of diamond and have a 40mb world. I would die to fast. If you want realism go outside.

It's not boring, it adds realism. If I was mauled by giant flesh eating spider right now I wouldn't respawn in my mother's womb, now would I?

Because it's more exciting, in my opinion, that there's an actual downside to death rather than losing a few things that can be made up in two days or less.

Plus, it's not my main world, it's my adventure world.

Typically, I am far away from the spawn when I die, so I delete the world because I don't want to find it or make a new one, considering I probably raped the spawn for resources.

It adds challenge and a reason to try and not die.

Hey Blocko
all them lame mods you got there.

You seriously freaking misread my post.
