When you're sharing a seed, document it from 0,0:
Press F3. Observe your X and Z co-ordinates on the left side of the screen. Walk until they are at 0,0. Take screenshots from there.

That way, we can actually go to 0,0 ourselves and see if we're really getting the same worlds.

So long as we know what the co-ordinates of where the pictures are taken from. We can't check things if you're just taking it from the spawn because that's randomized; it doesn't tell us where to check if we want to find that spot and the world can be very different (I entered floatingislands on two worlds, one of them I spawned on a single block of dirt in the middle of an ocean with ~40 blocks to land, the next time I spawned on the side of a mountain with no water in sight)

Cave formations, Dungeons, Biomes, Trees are not effected by seeds.

EDIT: Water and lava is not effected either.

Everything bolded is affected by seeds. Seeds generate the same map over and over but spawn and entities(mobs) are not affected.

New lighting system looks handicapped, it doesn't fit cubes at all.
Now.. it WOULD work in a more model-based game, but not one made of cubes.
Same for HD packs, even though most of them are stuffty textures in their own right.
