Author Topic: Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it  (Read 6778231 times)

I enjoy exploring large caves and making "checkpoints" in them for safe places.
But in case the overground is compromised (such as nighttime, or in SMP, cigaretteas killing everything they see), everything in my land network is connected underground.
:D

Maps make connecting things underground so much easier
Connected my main "hive," my underground city, and my old town today.

I also plan on making a couple of extra hidden passageways that lead to smaller extra tunnels, in case the cigaretteas find the underground connections.
Or rather, take over, because the main tunnels aren't hidden at all.

All I need is a way to hide passages.
:c

Notch should make it so your achievements save to your account like how you can upload your appearance and it'll be like that on every computer you play Minecraft on, but for achievements, information on what you have and haven't unlocked will be saved to your account

It's kind of a bother to play Minecraft somewhere and get several achievements and then play it somewhere else and have no achievements anymore
That's probably one of his intentions.

And having to start over on each world.

A Minecraft cloud.
Literally.

My new favorite thing is hiding passageways behind portals in my Portal Room.

I really wish Minecraft wasn't built on Java.  I feel like if the game was built on something that didn't use up as much RAM, then it would be easier to work with in terms of bugs and update fixing.

Unity3D? I have no idea how it's like working with it, but I imagine that it'd be easier than Java,

Jesus Christ on loving toast. I can run Minecraft and I only have 2 gigs.

Its amazing that when back in the old days nobody would believe me that the game mostly ran on ram.
Also i suppose i will host soon with my mic.
