Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it

I just got Aether mod and Zeppelin
Both are loving awesome, even though for some reason I can't select the craft controller block in my plane and if I add another one I can't
change the speed or yawrate, only rate of ascent.

EDIT: The first thing I see in the Aether are floating sheep :I

Watch out for roosteratrices, don't mistake them for cool looking moas they're poisonous.
When I first saw one I was like, "oh cool I want the egg of that one" so I ran over to it hoping to find an egg, I then got poisoned and died.

If hunger is default I'm looking for a mod to disable it.I always liked minecraft being just day night snow and that.Rain is ok but I hate thunder and snow.I will hate hunger.Notch needs to start having public meetings or polls for the game like "Should hunger be toggleable?"
Or "Should weather be toggleable?"
It would be nice to say yes or no.
I hope creative has Minecarts,redstone,boats,
water/lava blocks,pistons.
