Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it

I want a server like 2b2t except where once you are killed by another player you get banned/can't rejoin. You can still die safely from mobs, lava, fall damage and all that though. People would actually forge alliances and work together to survive since knowing randomly attacking someone is a very dangerous idea. Plus it'd keep out trolls because players would team up and kill them.

I would be so ticked off if I joined a server like that and a player killed me :I Especially if it was a decent server.
But then again, I'm not someone who's big on competition and survival. I just play for fun :I

That's a wonderful idea, and would be incredibly fun for people that want to play that way. Your opinion is not, nor will it ever be, fact.

There are tons of things wrong with it.

People could spawn kill
People who spend hours building things on the server who are suddenly killed, lose everything.

But I guess if thats your cup of tea...

Spawn would probably be protected from block damage and player damage, and I doubt anyone would build something enormous and time-consuming without understanding and taking into consideration the dangers. At most there would be some cool castles, plus that is what teamwork is for. People patrol the area builders are in. Just from that I can imagine it being very fun if you and your friends had mics.

Form cities and stuff, laws, police forces, currency, all without mods and stuff.

If it wasn't so easy to breach a stone wall this could be pretty cool with the right amount of people with the right ideals.

The more I think about that server though, the more fun it sounds but I would change some things.

Instead of a ban, you just cant respawn for awhile.
