I'm getting a pretty high fps, and the best part is it's smooth, no spikes anywhere.

it's almost like.. adding the water shader smoothed it out.
because with optifine on normally, i still get a little bit of lag spikes. right now-zero. the fps isn't maxxed out, but it's at a very decent level, and it seems to be staying that way
