I was bored so i made a cobblestone generator and hooked it up to an AND gate and a 5-clock, with one side of the AND gate being attached to a pressure plate, the other end to the 5 clock, and the center going to a piston on the back of the generator. no water channels needed for this one. the piston goes back and forth, pushing the cobblestone to the player, while allowing enough time to get another stone block loaded.
I'm pretty sure i'm not the only one who has done something like this, but it was a fun idea, even if i don't need it.

pros-
AUTO DELIVERY :D
Easily activated
can stretch up to 12 blocks (as far as a piston can push)
cons-
if you have never heard the term "5-clock" or "AND gate" or even know how to craft a repeater, 5 to be exact, you will have trouble making this.
it uses quite a bit of redstone
and a bucket of lava which CAN be hard to come across sometimes
if you don't use obsidian in front of the pressure plate, you could end up destroying something you don't want to.
Also, i may need tech support. minecraft has started doing a different kind of lag spike that i think is caused by something. i'll walk into a certain area or just from one room to another, and suddenly the sound starts stuttering, and i walk slowly with a frame rate of (i checked) 4FPS.
the thing is i'm not sure WHAT is causing it. i have a clusterforget of chickens, but i killed them all.
my settings are on fast, with minimal particles and no smooth lighting.
normally, with a lag spike, my screen would just freeze for a few seconds, then be fine.
i don't know. i've just noticed it started happening. and it isn't just one world, either. i tried optifine as well.
