I did that PIPA seed in the new Snapshot, and found this nearby. Never seen stone form like this before, some bug with lava lake generation? Or have I just never witnessed random smooth stone generating on the surface because a lava lake didn't generate high enough?

Also:

I've seen some lava lakes generate like that before, they're easy to fall in. :c

Actually, I think I did find this once before. In Trifax's server, but in a snow biome, so I could only see the stone by stealing snow.

Tame some wolves, then fly up a bit above and away of them where following would take them off a ledge. Their heads bug out. D:

I found one like that on his server too, but with sand. :c

Minecraft.net down?

It is for me.

Mega that pond reminds me of a time when i was walking home and i fell into a lava lake. :c i got the snow glitch again and it blocked off the lava

I was thinking of making a suggestion on the forums, since by the next update, you can launch spawn eggs from dispensers and have them spawn mobs.

First off, through survival and creative, you have two different spawn eggs.

The survival spawn eggs, you have to craft them. They stack up to 16, could be thrown like a regular egg and are consumed on use. The eggs have a 45% chance of actually spawning the mob.

The other, the creative spawn egg, can only be obtained through creative mode.

To craft the egg, I have three alternate ideas. The first one is crafting it.

Method #1: You use the monster's most common drop (Zombies are rotten flesh, pigs would be raw porkchops).
Method #2: You craft an empty spawn egg, which doesn't spawn anything. You have to cook (or 'brew', whichever you prefer) the regents into the egg for it to become the spawn egg.
Method #3: POKEMON. You use the empty spawn eggs to capture the essence of a mob, and then have a 45% chance of being able to release it when the egg breaks. Hostile mobs will become friendly, and attack other hostile mobs.

What do you think?

The second one seems more reasonable, as it is harder to acquire a brewing stand than it is to get an egg and mob drops.

Burning vines comes out weird.

-snip-

I like the first idea.

but how many of the drops would you need of each mob? i was thinking of having like 4 of the most common drops surrounded by an empty spawn egg.

Posted it!

With the addition of spawn eggs being able to be projected from a dispenser, why not?

Method #4: 2 and 3 put together. Then you capture the mob, you have to brew the egg with a "grounding" item to make it so the egg spawns the mob.

If you have any ideas for alternate methods, feel free to add them to your post.

If you have a reddit, might as well put it on /r/minecraft.
