I'm not too sure about there being hidden stuff. If all of the code wasn't accessible, then maybe, but it's open to the public and plenty of people have gone through all of the code line by line. I think he's just trying to send the fanbase into a frenzy to get more interest.

escapist says it's a recipe, but it sounds like they're making assumptions and piecing together different quotes from the interview to make it sound like Notch directly suggested that it was a recipe
