Except oceans. Traveling in a straight line by boat for 20 straight minutes is not fun.

Yes it is. Oceans need to be even larger than they already are. Ever since I started playing Minecraft I've wanted actual large continents with enormous huge oceans in between. I still don't have them. Right now we have neighborhood sized plots of land with large rivers. I'd say triple current large biomes and 6-8 times the current oceans. Then we're talking entertainment.

It makes the entire world bigger. Not just the oceans. It's the same world generation code.

Actually, a few: Ocean, Mushroom Island, and Hell.

They can all rot in the Nether.

Oceans are good for underwater cities, Mushroom Biomes are infinite food and no enemies, Hell/Nether is nearly infinite lava for Enchantment Tables and fortified houses.

Beef is already there right? Or do you mean something else? As for custom paintings I assume you mean where you don't have to go into the files and change it yourself. Other than those two things, I agree
