The things notch added weren't exactly bad, they were just hyped up a bit. The ended dragon isn't really good, but the endermen, abandoned mines, strongholds, villages, swamps, and giant mushrooms are pretty cool. I only wish they would let me grow giant mushrooms in the sunlight again.

villages, strongholds, and abandoned mines were added by jeb, so were dogs and cats, different wooden planks, trading, jungle strongholds, tripwires, pistons, and the potion system. where are you getting your information from?

I know Jon added cats. A lot of the last things you listed were Bukkit staff.
