make sure you have all the correct version, go redownload modloader and check to make sure your .jar is 1.2.5

They are both 1.2.5.
I've downloaded 4 times and force updated my client just in case.

It doesn't work whether META-INF is deleted or not.

You have to unzip the modloader file into a folder called "mod_" before you put it in the jar
