also did you guys read C418's reasoning for changing the sounds the other day? something along the lines of him not wanting to have used a bunch of free sounds from a library for his work, it's a recent post on his website

6 gigs of ram not enough? Sir what the forget is wrong with you

I have 4 gigs of ram, Minecraft only needs two and that's being generous. I run two monitors, with Skype, Steam, Mumble, Winamp and Chrome (which generally has six to eight tabs open at least), and I don't suffer any performance hits for it even on far render distance.

If you're having performance issues with Steam and Minecraft running at the same time, maybe you should stop whining about your memory and consider getting a multicore processor.

my computer only has 2 gigs and it runs it fine, idk what the forget is up with Fred thinking all of of them take 6gb to run

To respond to all the FTB posts:

It's called FTB because it's made for a map called FTB in which you use the mods in it to create items to put into a machine to get more supplies. Btw, it's also a skyblock map.

It's actually supported by the mod authors. The authors of the mods play oh PahiCraft with the people who created the map/modpack (Pahimar the creator of Pahicraft worked on the map and works on Equivalent Exchange)
