i found a weird structure in my minecraft it looks like this

further progress on The Fortress of The Chained, my project on the DC server



the towers are complete on the outside, that ladder was temporary for some maintenance



the entryway hasn't changed much



a partially completed chain, part of the namesake of the building (the one on the other side is longer but I managed to forget up about 75% of it)

I'm sort of considering changing the chain to cobblestone and the stairway to stone slabs, the netherbrick is so dark it's hard to tell what you're looking at (we'll see how it looks when I add the fourth section of glowstone)



got the ugly stairs out of the way in the storage area and used ladders instead

Guys I was playing YogBox, and then it was the second day, and then a huge lag spike occured, and then there as this really loving huge ass temple with floors made of blocks of lapis, gold and iron. The walls had a crapton of signs with what appeared to be the names of people who contributed to the YogBox.
I'm loving set for life, 5 stacks of iron, gold and lapis blocks. Is this a bug or...?

it's from milleinare, it's the "hall of donators" and its really loving dumb, it's a temple full of the names of people that donated to millienaire that nobody cares about and the only use is stripping all the mats

Why not make the chains out of iron blocks?

because that's

A. incredibly costly and
B. there are no iron block stairs to help smooth out the edges (believe me, I tried to make them out of regular stone first and without stairs it looks awful at this scale)

you could try sandstone.

making out of cobblestone would make it even weaker, so really, we don't have a problem.
