Game with cubes... With pixel textures...

But you wonder why he doesn't use smooth lighting?

To be honest, I'd rather have smooth lighting off for gameplay so I can tell if spots are dark enough to spawn monsters or not.

Maybe if the shadows were pixelated stuff shadows would look better.

Thats the grass, and probably because my processor would melt if I turned it on with TFC installed.

The squares of light-level may seem useful, but it just isn't eye-appealing.

That isn't lighting, that is the grass.

I feel like light should act a certain way, and having each entire block a different shade per lighting felt wrong to me. Not like "Kill regular lighting!" or "Don't use it!" I just don't like to use it, myself.

I really want to make a sword but I don't even have charcoal yet.

Plus I need help, should I make bronze tools/swords or copper tools/swords?

someone slipped up

not like you can actually join it or anything, but it's like looking through glass

very dirty glass where you can only tell that there are 3 youtube-famous people somewhere on the other side

I don't get it, Reg. Dirty glass? Are you saying "Someone slipped up - we can see the player count on this random server?"

Mindcrack is a private server run by GuudeBoulderfist, populated by several YouTube Minecraft players

access is sought-after by many, and for that reason - although the server has a whitelist - the IP is generally kept as secret as possible to avoid malicious activity such as DDOS attacks

edit: it appears the video's been taken down, fortunately I've still got it open so I don't have to wait to finish watching

I like how their site doesn't up front explain what it is and the only person in the members list I recognize is Etho because SethBling played with him on some map.

Guys, anyone know why TeKrush quit tending to PlasticCraft?
and, why would a LAN server be unjoinable if both clients have the same mods?

why would a LAN server be unjoinable if both clients have the same mods?
Because not all mods are for LAN/multilayer.
Or The server doesn't have the mods.
