For some reason if I have a 256x256 texture pack, fancy grpahics and super sooth lighting with optifine and shaders, minecraft runs faster than it does on LOWEST settings.

I've been watching Potatoorgy and co. do that map. It looks loving difficult.

Turns out I was using lite shaders. My game has a stable 26-28 FPS with no drops in a x128 texture pack. Despite that, I still use Faithful 32x because it looks better IMO and it's compatible with most of my favorite mods like ComputerCraft.

I'm not to partial to packs over 32x unless they are made in a cartoony style, it doesn't seem to fit the game well IMO.

so dan200 fixed the issue with the excavate program in turtles, so now they actually keep their fuel thanks to a new functionality in the turtle.refuel() function.
