you can find carrots/potatoes in randomly spawned villages populated by squidward monks

+ zombies drop them on occasion iirc

But zombies can drop iron ingots too which is useful if you don't have a iron golem farm.

• download optifine (obv. lol)
• click on the mod pack you want to edit
• click the "Edit Mod Pack" button, or "Edit Mod P..." if it's cut off
• click the JarMods tab on the new window
• click the "Add Mod" button on the bottomright
• browse for the optifine .zip you downloaded

and that should be it

if you did it right, it should look like this:
