Author Topic: Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it  (Read 6711283 times)

the title makes it sounds like they want to buy notch personally :cookieMonster:

Can anyone actually confirm anything useful out of this update? like granite, what does it do.

i really don't think mojang would sell minecraft and i hope to jusus i'm right

For 2 billion? They could find a way to make games that are just as graphically enhanced as Watch-Dogs (e3 graphics of course) with that much.

they're not trying to buy minecraft, they're trying to buy mojang

Blocks have meshes attached for 3D models, building materials, spectator player type, invisible barriers, /summon, underwater dungeons

Granite is a building material

I hope Mojang doesn't sell out. I just dont think Microsoft will run Mojang right, IMO.

Either way, I bought the console version a while ago, like maybe a year ago, and I seriously dislike the fact you have to purchase skins/texture packs/etc. with real money, while you can do it for free AND have mods in the computer version.

Total bullstuff.

>Microsoft buys mojang
>$.95 to change your skin
>$1.49 to download texture packs
>$9.99 to download+install mods
>all now called DLC
>Minecraft 2
>Minecraft 3 six months later, 1/2 the content of original

Notch probably has earned double what Microsoft is offering him

If Microsoft buys Mojang, does that mean no Vita edition, or is 4j studios separate?

Im trying to use Thermal expansion in 1.7.10, but they removed Conduits, so you have to use Extra Utilitys mod or MineFactory Reloaded. Tried using their cables/pipes. They connect the dynamos, but they dont transfer power. Makes me sad.

4j studios is a seperate studio that works in cooperation with Mojang to create the ports if i remember correctly.
