Pirates are cool cause they got some awesome theme songs, awesome names for their swords (cutlass, mateys!) and some guns to shoot some bullets out of the gun into a head.

Ninjas are cool cause they am sneaky, and can do some ass-ass-ination. They can camouflage with mr. shadow, and they are supah fast.

I like them ninjas better, but its a close vote on the poll ;o

Haha, Ninjas have throwing stars and knives, and they can throw their katanas too if they want to.

Plus, if ninjas were fighting pirates in the ocean, the ninjas would most likely sneak onto the ship, and by then the pirates cannons would be useless. The organized ninjas would beat the unprepared pirates, even though the pirates have slightly more sophisticated technology.

Yes, but the cannon can be accelerated at high speeds, letting the cannonballs hit their target before it goes off-course. Throwing weapons and such are thrown at low speeds, so the weapons go off-course unless used at close range. This is a battle fought on the coast, so the Pirates and Ninjas are separated at a fair distance, rendering throwing weapons useless.

Also, Ninjas can't sneak on to a Pirate ship without some sort of boarding device. When the pirates see the ninjas trying to board their ship, down goes the hot oil. Then the ninjas will get burned.
