Ahahahah.

I think this may be a bit much, but like add on maker "ranks" based of total ratings/total downloads.

EX: 10, 5 star add ons means ____ has 50 points giving him the rank of Pro or something like that. This could disguish how much reputation the user has and the quality of his add ons.

Also maybe mini user profiles for the people that release add ons kinda like youtube, maybe not that extensive though. Profiles would show their RTB avatar, how many people have suscribed, their add ons, and how many of their add ons have been favorited (see below)

Basically an add-on gets favorited when a user enjoys the addon (bit akward) Anyways when an add on gets favorited when somebody views the add on to possibly download it, it could say somewhere: Favorited 3 times, or something like that.

This is essentially what I've been doing and hopefully I'll be turning your RTB Forum Profile into a "Portfolio" for add-ons and such. Users already get ranked based on how many add-ons they've submitted, and there is already usage tracking to see how many people are using certain add-ons and how often so the data is all available for gauging popularity, it's just a question of aggregating and brown townysing it all and turning it into meaningful data. You can already view your RTB profile by going to http://forum.returntoblockland.com/user/Ephialtes or whatever your name is.

The plan is to have your profile display statistics on your posts, add-ons etc. and would be a compilation of the features seen on steam profiles and youtube profiles.

I was wondering if you could put a suscribe option or something. When somebody specificaly releaseing an addons you auto download it.
You shouldn't download something just because a certain person released it.
That's like watching a chick flick just because Jackie Chan is in it.

Although you have a point, it is true to a certain point. I know I would be more prone to see a movie with actors that I know/like/are famous as opposed to a movie with someone I don't know (Most of the time). Although those movies can be great also, and movies with famous actors may be total bombs.

Also, for registering RTB Prefs, for the value where you may make it host only, you (Ephi) should make it so you may make it 0 for Admins, 1 for Super Admins, and 2 for Host, or however. I know there are some values I wouldn't want admins changing, although Super Admins are free to change.

I hate you all Gotta love RTB :D

I don't get movies because of actors.
I get them because of their description.

Well, yes, same here. But, actors can make or break the movie, and I would wanna watch a movie where I can have very little doubt that they will mess it up, as long as the movie looks interesting.

RTB Server Control is limited to Super Admins only anyway, so you only need a flag to decide if it can be any SA, or just the Host.

I'm closing down the RTB2 API now, so anyone still using RTB2 will be unable to auto-update or use the Mod Manager. Things will probably screw up a lot so I suggest removing RTB2 and either getting RTB3 or just having nothing (and being miserable).

Why would you maximize it? I'm pretty sure the lists don't get bigger or anything.
Well really, why can I maximize the window if they don't?

Oh ya, haha, mind blank.

Why would anyone want nothing after the having the joys of RTB?
