Hey I have a lot of time! :cookieMonster:

I actually would sorta like to do it, since I can use wap2 for these forums and then parse out most of the HTML to just receive the text. Of course important formatting like this size tag would, at first, be missing.

Horray! Thanks M(if you actually do it).

On the topic of downloading add-ons from servers, there is a new feature in the pipeline from RTB that allows you to download all the rtb add-ons a server has directly from the RTB server. This means they download crazy fast and you don't have to sit there waiting to get each single file from a server with a home upload speed.

You can just recommend RTB to all your friendies and make BL easier for everyone.  :cookieMonster:
Awesome! Saw that in some other topic.

Is there going to something like Add-On Favorites in RTB4? Something that let's you save certain add-on configurations for different servers you might host on one computer?

Yeah, the "Groups" button in the Your Mods section will cater to this requirement. It allows you to create a named group and choose which add-ons are in it. You can then enable or disable this specific group or combine it with other groups. It should make things much easier when managing a server.

Oh perfect, can't wait! Great job with all this to all who have/are working on RTB.

Just Ephi, if I'm not mistaken.

EDIT: He beat me to it.

thats just awesome. i never knew about that.

Well, in that case, great work Ephi. This is a huge contribution to the whole Blockland community.

I was wondering if you could put a suscribe option or something. When somebody specificaly releaseing an addons you auto download it.

I think you'd still want to know about it. Maybe a more prominent notice in the news feed stating that it's available and giving you a link to download this. Subscribing could be a cool thing because it'd be another way to identify the quality add-on makers easily - I'll put it on the to-do list.

Yay RTB4 friends list <3

Just a note to you Ephi - you forgot to set the sizing on the parts of the server info GUI. The Join button, and the lists all stay anchored to the top left when you maximize its window (however the Back button moves correctly).

Just letting you know, obviously not an urgent issue.

Why would you maximize it? I'm pretty sure the lists don't get bigger or anything.

I think this may be a bit much, but like add on maker "ranks" based of total ratings/total downloads.

EX: 10, 5 star add ons means ____ has 50 points giving him the rank of Pro or something like that. This could disguish how much reputation the user has and the quality of his add ons.

Also maybe mini user profiles for the people that release add ons kinda like youtube, maybe not that extensive though. Profiles would show their RTB avatar, how many people have suscribed, their add ons, and how many of their add ons have been favorited (see below)

Basically an add-on gets favorited when a user enjoys the addon (bit akward) Anyways when an add on gets favorited when somebody views the add on to possibly download it, it could say somewhere: Favorited 3 times, or something like that.
