You're the one who downloaded RTB
What the hell? You willingly downloaded RtB, and you hardly dealt with anything.
Just to clarify, I wasn't aware that Ephi and his massive e-snake existed the moment I clicked the download link.

You just whined at every turn about each version not living up to your expectations (which were typically confirmed to be false prior to said whining)
I never said they were bad at the most, did I? When RTB3 came out, I just found it completely pointless to make a new mod manager and delete all the old ones when it was perfectly working fine the way before. 3.2, I asked what exactly changed, and here we are now.

Also, citing this:, you apparantly asked how to downgrade to version 2 when version 3 was only a total reworking of the system to be vastly improved in both quality and performance. "Let's use triangular wheels because these round ones don't make our cars fly."
I never asked to downgrade, Ephi only used that "DOWNGRADE PLZ" statement because he thought I hated RTB3 or something.

I'll just leave the thread now and let you guys re-rail it. Bye guise. :cookieMonster:

When RTB3 came out, I just found it completely pointless to make a new mod manager and delete all the old ones when it was perfectly working fine the way before.
The system was broken in that it provided garbage add-ons to people before the mods could review them, causing people to mess up their game with broken add-ons. The download speed was slow, taking a considerable amount of time to load add-on pages and screenshots. RtB 2 was filled with low quality add-ons that needed to be re-reviewed to meet the new quality standard of RtB, so they were all wiped, rather than ported to the faster system.

In other words, the RtB 2 system was flawed in many ways that were not clear before the release. The best way to fix it was to rebuild it from the ground up. That was the point of RtB 3.

That was a benefit of RTB 3.

RTB 3 does many things much better than RTB 2, including making the mod manager better and more efficient.  The main reason for the add-on wipe was the upgrading of the RTB forums, which had to be wiped, and now uses better forum software as the base, and all users on the forum are required to be linked to blockland ids.

Yeah, as we can see from this thread it is most definitely me who has a huge ego, is overwhelmingly stubborn, and a massive richard. Let's move on now.

I'll be working on the "quick select" buttons suggested earlier - like the default/minimal/currently enabled options and then provided the beta people don't find further issues, we're hot to trot.

Who cares, at least your "big" ego is productive.
I look forward to your updates.

I mean, I thought we already have groups - it's organized enough, IMO.

Are you handicapped on accident or on purpose?

Those groups in the picture you posted. They aren't the same.
Those are for sorting different kinds of add-ons.

The new groups are customized groups, for changing from different server types.

Unless you consider those two the same thing and just enable all weapons for a 'weapons server'.

That's more like Ephi right there.

Actually, I'm not butthurt - in fact, being barred from RTB somewhat gave me a sense of freedom knowing that I don't have to deal with Ephi's bullstuff anymore.
You didn't have to keep it installed.

Ephialtes dropped any remaining arrogance as far as I can see.

Are private mods included in RTB3..?

There's a category in my Mod Manager called 'Private Mods' but I don't think you can actually upload anything there yet.

So, what new stuff do you guys plan to add in v4-v5?

So, what new stuff do you guys plan to add in v4-v5?
Gallery, clan system.

RTB Connect will be in v4. I'm working on something super secret for v5 though which may or may not push back the Gallery and Clan Manager, depending on how it goes.

Updating the graphics of BL with bumpmapping, dynamic lighting, and more?  :cookieMonster:

Blockland already has bump mapping and dynamic lighting.
