Will there be a way for users to "report" faulty add-ons?

I'll probably remove it. Too many people misuse it for it to be of any help to moderators.

Maybe still have it, but only for users given the right to use it? I'm not saying it'd be a required thing, but if you give out the rights to it to trustworthy people and they find problems, it might help.

Well if you do keep it, make it so you can link a BL forum account to it, so then Mod Bot can PM you when a bug is reported.

Ephi, didn't you once say that old updated add-ons get a new topic or are bumped?  Does that still happen, or must the add-on be tested again?

Also a suggestion:  Have the add-on page say how many users have kept the add-on.  As in, haven't deleted it through rtb or anything.  So it would say something like "X users have kept the add-on after downloading."

With the new RTB chat system, is there still going to be a global chat like with the IRC?

I'm designing a contingency system which RTB Connect would put in place if it lost connection to the master server. It will essentially allow people to login to RTB Connect as "guests" (you won't get your friends list) and will be auto-joined to a central chatroom. There are a few things to consider here but I feel it'll meet the requirement you mentioned above.

There will be private/public chatrooms too - so there will be an "rtb" room for anyone who wants to hang out there. I may have it join you by default, we'll see.

In my opinion, I think it should automatically join so noobs don't go "I cannzz even get helpz, no irc no mo, me no get in." and you have to say "Press "Connect to Main Room.""

More Progress
So I found out there was a problem with the XML parser not being able to correctly parse an element that had more than one child and spent a bit of time debugging and fixing that.

I then re-did the options menu for the client because it was actually just a plain GUI instead of dynamically created, and it didn't fit with the new options schema for RTB4, but now it works nicely.

I'll be spending this week getting the information card to work, as well as the player status data (location, basically) and the ability to join them.

By that you mean you can find out what server they're on and join it straight from RTB?

Yes - All your friends will have a status like "Hosting" or "Playing" and you can then click on them then click the Join button and it'll connect you to the server they're in.

That will be useful. I could just do that instead of asking people what server they're in.

But if it's passworded it will ask for pass right?Or straightly connect? What if it checks a famous server and adds him as friend and then connect?I Think that you should make it if passworded, ask for pass
