Author Topic: PS3 or X360?  (Read 3585 times)

The second PS3 allows backwards compatibility is when I will start to consider buying one. I'm just a heavy Grandia fan. Otherwise, all the games I like for it I can get for 360. That's the only thing stopping me.
Get an original PS3.  Mine has backwards compatibility.

I prefer the 360 but my only legitimate excuse is becuase I like the way the controller fits in my hand rather than the light weight PS3 controller

Your hands are hueg liek xbox?

I liked the original. Never played any of the sequels.
I liked the first the best. I liked 2 as well, but never got to 3 yet. Kinda want to though.

Because I have an extra $600+ laying around? No thanks. Find me one for around $300 and we can talk. Besides, I have a PS2 to play Grandia anyways.

But itz 299 dlolerz now!!1!

Because they're totally not competing with microsoft's price drops.

wait, who dropped first?

Play Station, if I recall.

PS3 if you are a movie whore, and like games like Warhawk or LBP.
Xbox if you're a Halo fanatic.

Why is "Halo fanatic" attributed to 360? There's tons of better games for it.

I just saw the topic about Xbox prices dropping before the PS3 commercials.

Yes, but the new $299 models do not have backwards compatibility. They got rid of that feature. So Grandia would not work. If I had a video that showed empirical proof that the new ones play PSone games, then I can feel confident in buying one. I haven't found a vid yet. :(

Personally, I hope Nintendo wins the console wars. But I really doubt it will happen :c

I would also go with the PS3.
The online play is fine, and like Solid, I've only lagged once or twice, also only on LBP (Seems to be a problem with the games sync maybe, or loading all of the physics objects rather suddenly)

Take this whatever way you want, I don't really care, but I feel as though the PS3 is of higher quality then the Xbox. That's an opinion so I'm not getting into a fight about it. Find something better to do.

I got a heavy controller. :o
Dualshock ftw, amirite? :D

I prefer PS3. When I got them both, I decided the only way to see which I liked best was to play them both equally. At the end of the month, I wanted to play PS3 more than the 360, so now I have no 360.
