I think battlefield 2 and 1942 are still better.

BF 2 sucked.

Driving the huge-ass airplanes in 1942 was the stuff, you were mobile spawn points, it created a tactical part of the game which emphasized teamwork and forced people to work together or even take on more tame jobs to help win. They need to fully remake 1942 with the 1943 engine, but DON'T CHANGE stuff. I STILL WANT TO BEACH THE GODDAMN AIRCRAFT CARRIER, AND I STILL WANT TO TORcreep IT. DON'T MAKE IT INVINCIBLE, THE ENTIRE POINT OF BLOWING IT UP WAS TO REMOVE THE ENEMY SPAWN POSITION.

Willing to wager that Treyarch's CoD: Vietnam will be better than the pile of stuff (multiplayer-wise) MW2.

Exactly. 1942 was about the LAN play, back in the day. I remember my first time playing that desert mod, my brother tried flying a helicopter and got 8 consecutive TK's from crashing it.

In 1942 if you put mines on the hood of the jeeps they would sink into the ground.
You could do the same with planes.

Riding on the wing of the large bombers with a BAR gave you a sneaky advantage.

Too bad BF:V was a crapfest with players spawning with M60s, LAWs, and medkits all in one class when it came out, and with the US having better helicopters and everything.
The one good part about it was the ability to play music over the vehicle radio, but as soon as you added one song it disabled the originals.

After a few patches, BF:V was fantastic.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 isn't rated M. I just checked the Wikipedia and it says ESRB is still pending the rating. Unless through this whole time, they changed it.
