I am so sorry but i thought about Runescape too.
Even though the build being in front of the scape, it still triggers the Runescape memories.

It's like actually being in Dutch train...
I can say that is super accurate as a fellow Dutch person. :)

another game if you just want to hack and slash stuff in is Warhammer End Times: Vermintide

I loved it and pre-ordered the sequel, think of it like l4d2 except with a focus in melee combat and a reason to keep replaying.
I play both Vermintide and For Honor.
Both pretty rad games, incomparable, but great games nonetheless.
See For Honor more like a fighting game focused around this melee combo system with slashing, sweep hits, blocking, parrying, grabbing and what not.
That is very hard to compare with a L4D-like game mostly focused around melee gameplay instead of ranged (but it has ranged gameplay).

But yeah For Honor is a more niche game i think, you either hate it or love it.
Getting a character under control takes some learning the moveset and the mechanics like deflecting and the such.
But it is a pretty fun game if you like that, challenging for sure, mostly enjoyed in PVP-combat.

protip: learn how to use git & sourcetree, my school only started teaching this in the second year so after a year of using unity collab we suddenly had to switch to git instantly and it was a mess
idk what engine you guys use for your projects, but at my school its typically unity and sometimes gamemaker
Gamemaker is good for quick prototypes of certain games.
Unity is a good starting engine, though many people recommend moving past Unity or only using Unity for prototypes.

Using some sort of version control (subversion, git, whatever) will become a useful and mandatory thing if you want to do anything with it later on.
So investing time into learning how to use that stuff is recommended indeed.

New snapshot out now!
Snapshots usually aren't that special, but this snapshot includes some features of the Aquatic Update like turtles, Phantoms (flying sleepless eaters), swimming ability (sprint in water) and trident.
There's a bit more, but those are some bigger things.

Mario Kart has been a core game for new consoles/handhelds for years, interesting choice to put it to mobile.

That's good news!
I hope you enjoy your time and learn a lot.
I did Game Design with more of a focus on programming (the Game Design was just a form of the computer science study).
Pretty sure there are more people that had a game design course or something similar.

Also, pretty sure this belongs more in off-topic.
While it is about games, it is more of a personal thing that happened to you.
Alternatively (and surely worth a visit) you could go to the Game Design topic in Creativity for inspiration or searching fellow game design followers.
But great news anyway!

They did manage to release something that makes sense earlier and that was buffing LMGs. Hopefully they'll do a full rundown on all the crappy weapons and give them decent buffs later after these new changes.
The changes they did were long needed yes and i am glad they did buff LMG's.
I certainly do hope they do not just nerf everything fun, which they kind of make it feel like sometimes.

Walking and firing the catapult is a bit much, but alright, still looks nice and well done.
