Games / ToonTown Rewritten! SO GOOOD
« on: December 25, 2015, 01:38:54 PM »
That other thread that I didn't notice because I'm dumb.

You guys remember that bomb game from 12 years ago that eventually dropped off and died because Disney stopped doing things with it?

IT'S BACK BABY.

https://www.toontownrewritten.com/

You know how you could always kind of tell that there were hints of a deeper storyline and established lore, but Disney never did anything with that?
THEY'RE writing friggin' SHAKESPEAR with this crap. They've incorporated tons of stuff into backstory and details- they've incorporated the discovery of the cog HQs into a story, and even ToonTown Rewritten's stemming off from ToonTown online ITSELF has been incorporated into a big plotline- all of which you can catch up and read on with their news blog. I may have spent several hours last night just reading it all.

They've added things players were requesting for years, even BEFORE the reboot. It's slightly buggy, but only because they've basically reverse engineered a lot of the game.

and it's FREE. Never played? Get yo butt onto the best mmo of the early 2000s. It's legal. It's improved. It's free. It's friggin nostalgia m8

List of Changes from ToonTown Online:
----------------------------------------------
  • Can see current invasions and population of districts
  • Button to see cog levels when at a weird angle in a fight
  • (I think) a new building in BBHQ that will have a use later
  • Can teleport to HQs when cog disguise is maxed out
  • shovel time is halved
  • Doodles are not yet functional
  • Miscellaneous minor tweaks
  • True friends aren't functional
  • Many new Toon colors
  • Flippy is in front of his desk by the door while Toon Hall undergoes "construction"
  • (Not sure if different from TTO, or just new since I stopped playing last) Toon accessories like shoes, hats, and glasses with a chest to store it all, along with street maps complete with the percentage of each type of cog on each street & targets for toontasks
  • New clothes, speedchat phrases, and other products in the catalog
  • Some changes to accessible grey areas (Namely in LBHQ)
  • A new website with a blog that has a very interesting ongoing story
  • Invasions and cog HQs give 2x gag experience
  • If you pass and don't attack any cog, you don't receive task credit
  • If someone moves around when being teleported to too much, the teleporting toon will crash (glitch)

Let me know what I missed!

dishes coupon would work if I was't going back to college really soon. Can't play music for the life of me.
If I can get to wal-mart I'd probably be okay, but that's a strong "if." D:

Make a lighthouse next to the ocean with a sombrero playing Chopin Nocturne next to a ruler.
genius

Yeah so I got gifts for EVERYONE except my mom. I got two days guys, what do I dO!?

Also since I don't have a vehicle for wal-mart purposes, the best ideas here are ones that I can make at home using duct tape and hot glue as my major resources.
Likes: lighthouses and ocean related stuff, spanish things, music in minor, and mom/teachery things

the only people that i actually like in this video was kung fury and slow mo guys
It's just depressing that every time they show up in a rewind, they're never doing anything but making facing while soda flies everywhere. I mean- they've done OTHER stuff. I'm not even subscribed to them and I know that.

At the end of class we were supposed to make three sets of pictures to be printed out on large sheets of glossy paper so we could frame it or whatever

I made a fourth one with these for funzies

He ended up printing that one too. So now I have four professional looking photos with Patrick in the background. XD

Assuming it's been said, but why the heck does he add the two 49s together? And why does he add his one? What line of logic tells a person that it should add up to $100? wut

Meh. Like the other ones better. This one just felt like little more than an awkward dance party.

Just finished my intro to photography class. Lots of free time was had. Boredom ensued. So I ended up taking at least one picture from every assignment and project we did, and I "enhanced" it.

BEHOLD the results

And a lil preview for those too lazy to click a link:

Can people stop spewing this blablaehgengiownv
Methinks he's being a bit misunderstood. I don't think he was completely disregarding what the others are saying- just reminding OP not to take what everyone's saying as sure-fact that he has depression.

That being said, I'd lean towards Superslayer. If you think this is a serious issue, don't wait because it could worsen. But still, don't do it purely just because people told you that you have depression. If it sounds like something you have based on what they said, then sure, go do something about it.
