Gimme the plans...
NeverGood job on the videos btw.
You looked in my youtube favorites for some of the music, didn't you? >_>You creepy stalker you
So now that the Spine mite is ingame and the Guard bug is more useful, I'd say it's about time I hosted a Bugs vs Mites Trenchdig. :)
I should be able to finish the build by this weekend, but if anyone would like to help, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Here is the basic layout of the build:

Mite hive on the left, Bug hive on the right, and a lower area of a MAS area in the middle, which will be guarded by AI ASNs.
The Bug and Mite hives will be rather complex and have multiple levels.
I'm still unsure of what I want in the MAS base, but a powerplant makes the most sense.
The MAS base needs to have many vents and small areas for the bugs to sneak around in, but also some areas that require the bugs to confront the ASN if they bugs wish to pass though.
I am still undecided on the game-mode/objective for this, though. A capture-the-flag mode isn't going to be balanced, because the mites are soo much faster than the bugs. So far I've come up with the following:
-Standard points/score race: Points limit of 80-100. And fighting. Seems somewhat boring to me, but it would work.
-Capture the MAS base (king of the hill?): One or more cap points would be placed inside the MAS area. First hive to hold the points for long enough wins.
-Hive assault: One or both of the hives would have a number of cap points, and the first hive capture all of the other hives would win. This would probably be slanted too much in the bugs favor to work (the bugs are very defensive).
-Kill the queeeeeeeens: I should be able to use the Leader slayer gamemode for this. Each hive would only have one queen, and the death of that queen would be the defeat of that hive.
