If you're going to be so stubborn in thinking that there's no way that someone could be smart enough to not have any problems playing EvE then I couldn't care less about your shallow opinion.

Once you get into hardcore mining/active market manipulation/war funding and whatnot, I think the learning curve just goes through the roof. You might have the controls and ship operation down, and you might know what all the modules do, but market manipulation and maximizing profits from mining gets complicated. Some people spend years doing these things and still don't understand everything about it because it's always changing.
Then there are the hardcore PvP players who spend all of their time adjusting their combat strategy. In EvE PvP takes a lot of skill. It's like a game of chess where if you can't predict your opponents next move you might as well eject and run away. And if you don't make the right moves at the right time you are already dead.

so tell me mr. einstein of EVE, you must be a director in some huge 0.0 alliance by now, how are the fleet battles you've been FCing going? You know what FCing is, right? Try any black ops bridging? Maybe bombing runs? You know how far away you need to be for a bombing run, right? Oh, and how are your PvEers? You're really good at scanning down plexes for them, right? You know how to scan, right? You know what a plex is, right? Oh and who's the leader in FW right now? You know what FW is? How about in nullspace, who are the big power blocs right now? Oh and what's the FOTM? Oh and what about the current market trends for POS fuel? You know what POS fuel is, right? And is it better to refine my arkonor or just sell it raw? What's the average going price for arkonor? How much better is the yield in a hulk compared to a covetor? what are the required skills for a hulk?

obviously there's more to eve then flying your ship and running missions bro. it's impossible to learn everything right off.

</3 Blob warfare. I've lost my Buzzard full of my Drake fitting twice now. The second time was my mum's fault though becasue she was like "Cooonoor!" And I was like "Wait". And then she forced me to come to the top of the stairs and I totally got ganked at a gate. Also, you tell him Lego. lol

It's nice that you're assuming things here, I said that what I have done so far came naturally to me, and it has, I never once mentioned knowing every single itty-bitty detail about absolutely everything you could ever do in EvE online, up to this point and into the foresee-able future I have, and will not, experience this "learning curve" that everyone always goes on and on about.

Next time you should sit down, shut up, pay attention to what I'm saying and prevent yourself from assuming that I am claiming to be a walking encyclopaedia in order to buff my e-peen.

Tok really though there's no way you knew how to start a mission/mine/target/shoot/play-well, etc. Naturally right? Cos' that's what it sounds like you're saying.

I can't think of too many corporations that will like to have you around, then. If you're not going to hit a learning curve then you're never going to be good at anything.

But anyways, have you got out of the starting system yet?

I knew how to mine, do missions, target things, shoot, not die, do things that I needed to do in order to get money within the first few minutes of play-time.

I am observant, I am intelligent, these things should come naturally to everyone and they're not that hard to figure out, why am I branded as being a liar just because I didn't have to spend a while getting used to everything?

You don't need a learning curve to actually learn things you know, just because you struggled doesn't mean everyone else did

/facepalm
You don't understand what a learning curve is, bro. A learning curve doesn't mean it's difficult to learn, it means you learn.

^^Even the MMO's that are portrayed as really simple STILL have a learning curve. As time goes on, gaming skill goes up. No one said a learning curve has to be extremely difficult, but it's impossible for there not to be one. For most people in EVE, it's pretty difficult to get profficient.

I don't like arguments but you're just talking plain stuff now.

I challenge Tokthree to a t1 frigate 1v1 with my alt.

BTW LEGO YOU starfish WE NEVER DID GET AROUND TO DOING A GOOD T1 FRIGATE 1V1

:(

You two are stubborn, shallow-minded and ridiculously persistent, if you're not going to believe that I was naturally decent at EvE the moment I picked it up no matter what I say then there's no point trying to convince you.

Have fun saying that I'm obviously a liar because I can't back up what I say and had to back out because I knew I was losing the lie, and have fun living in your protective opinion bubbles

So you have no balls and aren't accepting my challenge?

Edit: I'll fly to you, you don't even have to come to me.

I'm sorry but it is impossible to do the things you listed naturally without prior experience/knowledge of the game. There is absolutely NO way. It's impossible.
