Any scale button or anything in 2.49 like there is in 2.63? Because when I put it and 2.63 and scale it and than put it back into 2.49 to export it it messes up the model for some reason.

Q: How to set the amount of vertices in a cylinder or circle?
A: Add a cylinder or circle, select it in object mode and press T to open the toolbar on the left. At the very bottom of the toolbar there is a Add Circle/Cylinder menu, open it and change the amount of vertices.

I'm not finding the Add Circle/Cylinder menu anywhere.

I keep selecting my cylinder in object mode, but I can't find the Add Circle/Cylinder menu anywhere.

F6 right after creating the mesh.

Apply location, rotation, and scale.

It helps with the scale messing up.
Now I'm just confused.

It starts out like this:

When I put the model in new Blender and scale it to what I want and than I put it back in the old Blender it ends up looking like this for some reason:

I either want to know how to fix it or scale it in the old Blender the same way as clicking the Scale button in the new Blender.

Please help Mr. Finland Man.

In the newer version: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=157886.0#post_fixing

Then this:
In order to open .blend files saved in Blender 2.63 or newer with older Blender versions you need to save the file again with Legacy Mesh Format. Please note that this gets rid of all ngons in the save. To save with Legacy Mesh Format, go to File > Save As... or press Ctrl + Alt + S and check the Legacy Mesh Format checkbox.

How do I group parts of a mesh together to create another mesh out of them?

How do I group parts of a mesh together to create another mesh out of them?
Select vertices/faces/edges in edit mode and press P to separate them into their own object. In object mode select 2 or more objects and press Ctrl + J to join them into a single object.

I hid the menu on the interface used to add materials. How do I bring it back up?
On the top right and bottom left corner of each interface panel there are the little light lines that form a triangular shape. Click and drag them to create a new panel. Change the panel/editor type to properties. The menu to change the type is either at the top or bottom left corner.

Select vertices/faces/edges in edit mode and press P to separate them into their own object. In object mode select 2 or more objects and press Ctrl + J to join them into a single object.

How do I select them all?

How do I select them all?
A (de/)selects everything. Left click selects single things. B is for box select.

Sorry, but what is a "(de/)"?

Sorry, but what is a "(de/)"?
The A key selects everything and also deselects everything.

Alright, I have the objects selected, but Ctrl+J isn't doing anything.

Never mind, I just had to click on one of the objects after selecting them all.

How can I download Blender 2.49 without it replacing my Blender 2.64?
