No

TF2 is trying to NOT be link most games, that's why they use such obscure weapons, not assault rifles, that would literally ruin the point of the class.
And thats why I love TF2.
Anyway, what would the boomerang replace? The sniper rifle, or the machete?

I think its a good idea, but most of the Sniper weapons are good at fighting his main enemy being Spys

So how would that work?

Because the Tribal mans shiv helps find cloaked spies, Jarate good for finding spies, Razorback preventing backstabs.

What would the Boomerang bring to the table?

The SMG...

When boomerang hits a headshot, you get a head :3

sniper needs a robot suit

Lol did anyone else realize the soldier has no specific purpose? He isn't good for getting intel, isn't the one recommended for teaming with medics, is alright for defense, good for general offense.

Soldier is the only all-around any situation class.

I think the assault rifle for soldier idea is good, but it does ruin the whole point of tf2, so make like, a gun made by the bones of his enemies, so like every time you kill someone with the assault rifle, it gets a little stronger/or you get more health like with the eyelander taking heads.

As for the boomerang i think its a good idea. I think it would be better to replace the machete and the secondary fire is were you throw it like with the sandman.

And now for some class extras I just now thought of: for scout, same general idea as the scout, but as said before the scout will have a generic smg, the secondary a single use sensor that tells were enemies are near your about the distance round of a capture point. and instead of a bat they use a small knife kinda like the spys, but without back stabs and they attack faster. Thats all I can think of right now.

Assault Rifle disguised as an old Rifle in TF2.

As well it's oldish style, what about a M2 Carbine model

Not the M2 Carbine, it's actually the M1A1 Carbine Airborne Version, but you get the idea. It would just need to be TF2ished.
