I'm not sure how hard it is since they buffed him (minions drop less hearts) I guess you can try doing twins with a repeater or minishark with cursed bullets

Yeah, I grinded the Wall of Flesh three or four times to get the clock work rifle, made 600 cursed bullets and used the last of my stars in the star cannon and finally beat the twins. Destroyer next, I'll probably go look for strategies for that one.

Right? I've been grinding for a lot of the stuff for the Ankh Charm and nazars are not that rare for me either. I'm having trouble with the usual ones, blindfolds and armor polish.

I gear the magic harp is still good since all the notes bounce within the destroyer killing everything.

Probably the easiest method for fighting the Destroyer, albeit a little bit in a cheaty manner, is to build a platform at some height above the ground.
The Destroyer can only jump out of the ground so high, meaning it can't touch you while you can shoot down at it.

You have to handle the orbs that it releases, but these aren't too difficult with a shotgun and some explosive ammo.

And then you can also set up a heart-statue timer to give yourself some regular little burts of health.

All of the hard mode bosses with exception of Plantera are pretty easy IMO. Use a clockwork assault rifle with any hardmode teir of armor and you should be fine.

I can't seem to beat The Destroyer. I have regening out the ass, buffs all up, adamantatite armor, and I use the rifle, the harp, and a phaseblade hardmode thing.

I need that necklace.

Fighting the Destroyer head-on always ends in death dude. You gotta make a platform or something.

Have you tried getting and using the waterbolt in an arena with walls?  Concerning the rifle, what ammunition do you use?  I think crystal bullets might be of good use on the Destroyer as they create shrapnel on impact, dealing extra damage.
