I was halfway to getting a plat until I bought a minishark.

I have 30 plat or something like that.

It adds up when you play multiplayer in hell a lot. I can come back up with a full inventory of drops and I won't die down there either.

Of course multiplayer is a lot harder cause the spawns are upped, but you get more drops.

Minishark isn't really worth it in my opinion. You can kill most things with a FieryGreatsword or Nightedge.

Demonite becomes useless after you've obtain moltenarmor :P

I had to buy the minishark to defeat the eye.

Its worth it if you want the Star Cannon, and TBH the nights edge is less worth it. Muramasa = King

I just defeated that skeleton guy infront of my dungeon. When should I be getting a dryad from defeating the eye, and the old man. Also, my guide never respawned.

Nah, I looked around my spawn, couldn't find him. I even dived in a nearby lake and still couldn't find the bastard. I need him for recipe look-ups.

have you left and reopened terraria since you KILLED HIM?
also have an extra house and wait a day he might come back
