Inventory editors exist, I'm not calling anyone a cheater, but it is really possible that multiple people here showing off stuff they have just cheated it in.

I got really far from using wooden and default tools with a small house that can't even spawn NPCs, now after a day's work I have almost full silver armor, gold pick, 5 meteorite bars working on getting meteor armor, rest of my tools iron, light's bane, and Starfury.

Needless to say, I'm happy with my progress. (thanks sord for helping out)
