What should I do before I fight the WoF? I feel like I need to do more things, I only have gold armor and a molten helmet, should I get more armor? My friend says that i should get a set of molten armor first, but I don't know.

I suggest having full molten, because gold is like nothing in hard mode.

Get a full set of molten armor before fighting it. Make a very long bridge. Get some iron skin potions and a regeneration potion. Use lots of gun. Lots and lots of gun.

I've been told to make a long bridge, but it doesn't seem nesscesary to me with spectre boots, cloud in a bottle, and an ivy whip. I'm going to use a minishark, and 1000 bullets. I also have a bunch of dolls, so failing doesn't really matter to me. I'm going to try once right now.
