I just now got to hardmode on my new character, but I don't have any hardmode items yet...

It also looks like he has a buff with no time limit on it. Maybe items with passive effects.

Maybe half-high blocks. Do not look perfectly sloped.

Or it could just be a graphical bug like you can see from the dirt in the cave next to it.

i think the dirt was just made to curve slightly on really steep slopes.

inside the tree trunk you can see what appears to be diagonal wood blocks, but i think it just does it automatically.
